Media Bring to Front

MessageAuthor

I find it very difficult to edit media, especially audio in a time line where there are multiple items and overlaps. At some point media over laps and you cannot grab or edit the end of media that is behind another and it appears that clicking on the media does not bring it forward for easy edit The problem does not appear to exist if Auto cross fade is on but people dont always use auto cross fade and i rarely use it ever. can this be added or is there a setting that resolves this??

It looks like you're in FIPM (Free Item Positioning Mode), which means you should be able to drag the left item up so the edge becomes visible, as long as the track height allows it. The way I was suggesting was with lanes like so: -Susan

Yupe that would appear to help solve the problem. Previously I resorted to pulling parts down to another track But this will do the job Thanks!...
